About

Helping You Evolve & Grow

Kelly received her Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Capella University. She has gained experience in residential and outpatient settings, including Children's Advocacy Centers, working primarily with families, children, adolescents, adults, and couples with a trauma history. This, coupled with her life experience in public special education, provides a specialized skillset for helping families struggling with trauma and mental health issues and supporting families with special needs. She utilizes several modalities when working with clients to meet each client's unique needs. She enjoys working with families, assisting parents with strategies to overcome behavioral issues, aiding divorcing couples with the struggles of co-parenting, supporting families as they transition through life cycle stages, and improving overall functioning as a family. Kelly’s approach derives from a systemic, trauma-informed, and attachment-style lens, aiding clients to reach their goals. Life is about relationships. Kelly provides a warm and welcoming environment, taking time to develop a connection with clients to foster feelings of safety so the therapeutic magic can happen. Clients can expect to take away practical skills to implement immediately and a direct approach to uncovering the root issues, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.
